NCSM, an autonomous scientific organization under the Govt. of India, invites applications for the following posts (vacancies exist in different science centres in different parts of the country):

Curator ‘B’
No. of Post(s): 06
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Qualification & Experience:
First class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/Electronics/Information Technology OR First class M.Sc in Physics/Life Science (Bio-Technology/Zoology/Botany/Environmental Science) with one-year experience in research/design/workshop/teaching.
OR
M.E/M.Tech/Ph.D (Science) in the above disciplines.
Job Details & Responsibilities:
Design and development of exhibits, audio-visual demonstrations, teaching aids etc., development of museum sections on various subjects of science & technology, organization of educational programmes for different categories; research on history of science & technology, museum techniques and evaluation of exhibits all pertaining to the developmental activities of the museum/centre. Assisting in day-to-day work and administration of the
museum/centre.
